Developmental Programming

We study developmental programming using zebrafish models to better understand the factors influencing early life development. Our research explores the effects of glucose availability and hypoxia during development, particularly their impacts on cardiac function and growth. Additionally, we investigate the role of growth factor receptor-bound protein 10 (Grb10) and its effects on cardiovascular and metabolic function, providing valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying developmental health and disease.
