Microplastics accumulate in all major organs of the mediterranean loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta)

We're thrilled to share that Leah Costello from the Shiels Lab has published groundbreaking research on the impact of microplastics on sea turtles. Her latest work, now available in Marine Environmental Research, provides valuable insights into how these persistent pollutants affect marine life.
